 Re-Release are a high-energy wedding and party band delivering unforgettable live music across Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and the South West. With decades of combined experience and a setlist designed to fill dance floors, we bring the perfect blend of classic hits, modern anthems, and crowd-pleasing favourites that keep every guest dancing.

Whether you're planning a relaxed celebration or a full-scale party, we provide professional musicianship, smooth communication, and a polished live show tailored to your event. From the moment you enquire to the final song of the night, our goal is simple: make your wedding or event feel incredible.

Solo Sessions

The perfect add-on*

 Our keyboardist and saxophonist are both solo artists in their own right.

Solo piano

Classic, jazz or modern music for wedding ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and receptions. With a vast repertoire available across all genres, just get in touch to let us know your preferences.

Solo saxophone

When you book us as a 6- or 7-piece band, you have the fabulous sounds of sax for all those classic riffs and solos. And you can also book a solo sax session for any part of your day - just brilliant!

Live music tailored to your budget

Sax and piano solo sets

Saxophone - 1 hour live session played over unmanned DJ music.  This is a freestyle session which will be highly interactive with  the audience.

Piano - live piano music played for your wedding ceremony  or during the wedding breakfast.  Your choice of music - will it be jazz, pop, classical? 

These services can only be booked as add-ons to a live band booking

Unmanned disco

Included as standard - a simple, cost-effective way to carry on dancing after the live music, without needing a separate DJ.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We play big, feel-good songs that fill dancefloors – rock, pop, disco, soul and funk from the 1960s right through to current chart hits. Think timeless classics, guilty pleasures, and proper party anthems.

    Our setlist is designed to work for mixed age groups, so everyone from your uni friends to your auntie ends up dancing.

  • Absolutely. In fact we encourage you to pick your favourites from our setlist, and we’ll shape the evening around what you love. We’re also happy to learn one special song for your first dance (with enough notice).

    If there are songs you really don’t want played, just tell us – it’s your party!

  • We usually provide 2 hours of live music across the night (more available on request). Usually that means 2 x 60-minute or 3 x 40-minute live sets.

    We’ll agree the exact timings in advance with you and your venue so everything runs smoothly.

  • Yes – we keep the atmosphere going all night.

    We play background music before the first set and during intervals through our DJ-grade PA system. We’re happy to agree a style or playlist in advance so it fits the vibe you want.

    If you book a DJ package, we’ll keep music flowing right through to the end of the night.

  • We’re based in the Bristol area and most of our work is within around an hour’s drive.

    We’re very happy to travel further though – we’ll just factor any additional travel costs into your quote

  • Unfortunately we can’t invite guests to perform with the band due to insurance restrictions.

    However, we can provide microphones and audio facilities for speeches and announcements.

  • Yes – and that’s a good thing. The contract protects both you and us. It clearly sets out the date, timings, costs and key details including cancellation terms, so there are no surprises on the day.

    We take a 20% deposit within 7 days of booking to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event, at the latest.

    We aim to respond quickly - usually within one business day.

  • Many wedding bands work through agencies, which typically add around 20% to the price (plus VAT).

    When you book us directly:

    • You avoid agency fees

    • You deal with the band personally

    • You get better value

    It’s more straightforward, more personal, and usually more affordable.

  • Yes. We carry full Public Liability Insurance and all of our equipment is PAT tested.

    We can provide documentation to your venue if required.
